After many wanderings and difficulties, the family of Prodromos Eznepidis arrives in Konitsa, Epirus. There, they find people who welcome them with love and help them to start anew. Little Arsenios stutters his first prayers and grows up in a spiritual environment. With her death, grandmother Hatzi-Christina leaves a rich spiritual legacy to her children and grandchildren. At the same time, a new member is added to the family. Christina's birth leads Raphael home again, so that he does not listen to the mother who gives birth and little Amalia learn about the mystery of life and death. Arsenios grows up and encounters as a refugee child the first difficulties with his peers.

Episode Six (with English subtitles)

Eulogia discerns the spiritual inclination of Arsenios and takes care, from a very early age, to transmit her great faith to him. In addition to prayers, she talks to him about the ego and humility, and how to fight evil thoughts. With her daily bright example, great virtues are slowly built in his childlike soul, which will later be his great support and his spiritual reserve with which he will comfort thousands of people.

At the age of 12 he chooses not to go to high school and instead to learn the art of carpentry to help his parents financially. At the age of 16, a cousin sows in his soul doubt about the divinity of Christ. Arsenios takes refuge in the Church of Saint Barbara and, crying, begs Christ to show him a sign that will refute what his cousin told him.
